exact location of a property. All legal documents refer to
the TMK number.
Using this TMK map you can determine the approximate location
of the properties listed in this website. The TMK number in
the property description has five digits:

County – Zone – Section – Plat

The first digit refers to the county,
this map is of Hawaii County “The Big Island” and
is designated by the number 3. The second digit refers to the
zone, indicated on this map by the large number surrounding
the map. The third digit refers to a section within the zone,
indicated on this map by the small numbers within the map.
The forth and fifth numbers (not indicated on this map) refer
to the plat and parcel,
which designate the exact location of the property on a detailed
tax map.
